Addons & levelling

While levelling, I like to enjoy the world I play in.  This meant that on my first toon - foosecond (I had another toon - foobarfoo - but that was on a relative's account), I ran it without any addons, and did my own thing.  I did break down and occasionally group with someone that had an addon that told them where to go, and used both wowwiki and thottbot to read up on advice for various quests.  Would I do it again - Yes. However, once I hit 80, questhelper found its way to my account and made questing much easier.

How do I use addons (part 1)?

Keep up your skills while levelling

There will be times during your levelling that you outstrip your skills. Do yourself a favour - take the time to keep up.

With your first starting toon, you are now gathering to your hearts content, but you are constantly having problems with full bags.  To solve this you will need to:

Gold when you are first starting.

When I first started WOW, I thought that 'trade professions' were way cooler than 'Gathering professions', so I took tailoring and enchanting. Cool does not earn the gold. Let me state for the record - in my opinion - Your first toon should take two gathering professions - skinning and your choice of herbalism or mining.

About Me

Hiya.

I am Foo from Arozcaldo - US Caelestrasz, with a case of altalot, and a penchant for reading WOW economic blogs. I play the AH more than I raid.

In Gevlons terms - I am not quite Goblin, not quite social, but somewhere in the middle. I am of the opinion that those that see a problem are the ones to fix it. With yet another economic blog failing, it is time I stand up.

I am prone to seplling errors, and not always finishing thoughts. Any financial advice is of a general nature. If you need specific advice please see a licenced financial planner.

I dont read real life email unless I cant avoid it. However, I do respond to in game whispers and in game mail. With luck, I'll even get, read and respond to comments here.
